Unique, single use. Send it by any channel — message, email, printed in a card. There is no wallet address involved, which removes the most common transfer error entirely.

The code is consumed
Once redeemed it cannot be reused. If it expires unredeemed, that becomes a support case rather than an automatic refund.
The closed-loop problem
Everything good about this product depends on both parties being inside Binance, and that is a heavier requirement than it sounds.
Consider the actual use case for a crypto gift. You want to give somebody their first exposure to cryptocurrency. They have no exchange account, they are mildly curious rather than committed, and it is a birthday. A Binance Gift Card asks them, on that day, to register on an exchange, submit government identification, wait for verification, and then redeem. Most people will not do that this week, and a meaningful number will never do it.

The expiry rule
Cards created after 10 April 2024 must be redeemed within six months of creation. This is easy to overlook and it has a specific failure mode: buying ahead.
If you create a card in July intending to give it at Christmas, you are already using four of the six months before it is opened. If the recipient then takes two months to get round to registering on Binance, the card is dead. Create the card close to the moment you intend to hand it over, not when you happen to think of it.
Crypto Box

You select from nearly 150 supported cryptocurrencies, enter a total amount, and choose whether to send it to one recipient or several — at equal amounts, or at random amounts, which turns it into a small game. Zero transaction fees, instant.
Same closed-loop constraint applies: everyone opening a box needs a Binance.US account. Within a group of people who all already have one — a team, a group of friends who trade — it is the most fun product in this entire category.

What is a Binance Gift Card?

Do Binance Gift Cards expire?

Does the recipient need a Binance account?
Yes, and it must be verified. This is the defining limitation. Are there fees?
